Si hay un artista carismático, querido y reconocido por todo el mundo en Cuba, ese es sin duda alguna Pedrito Calvo. Tras una carrera llena de éxitos y haber pasado por diferentes orquestas como los jóvenes del Filín, pancho el Bravo; La Ritmo Oriental llega a los Van Van de la mano de César Pedroso (Pupy) y Rúl Cardenas dando a esa agrupación los éxitos más sonados, y elevó al pedestal más alto su fama, entre aficionados y bailadores.
Los años pasan y t y Pedrito decidió un buen día crear su propia orquesta “La Justicia” para continuar su carrera. Antes de dar este paso definitivo, ha formado parte de Afro Cuban All Star, NG La Banda Pupy y Los Que Son Son, siempre siendo “estrella invitada”. En el 2002 nos presentó su primera producción “Vengo con la Justicia”.
Ahora con arreglos de Fernando Soria y su hermano Lázaro, hemos grabado la segunda producción con La Justicia que reafirma mi criterio de que Pedrito “es lo mejor”. Para todos nosotros ha sido un honor estar al lado de este hombre reconocidísimo y excepcional artista, con un corazón tan grande como su arte.
Without any doubts, in Cuba, Pedrito Calvo is considered as the most charismatic, loved and recognized artist. Between his career full successful and after working for different orchestras such as the youngest of the Filín, Pancho El Bravo, La Ritmo oriental; he arrives to Van Van by César Pedroso’ hand and Raúl Cardenas; He gave to this group the most played successful and began very famous among funs and dancers.
Years go and Pedro decided one day to create his own orchestra “ La Justicia” to continue his career.

Now by help of Fernando Soria and Lázaro (Pedrito’s brother), we have stored the second production with La Justicia that we have in your hands, and that confirms my thoughts about Pedro, who is a unique person as in his work as in his life. For us was an honour to stay with this man, an excellent artist, with a heart as big as his art.
