Una obra&nbsp; que se inserta dentro del nuevo jazz que se hace en Cuba.<br>Acompa\u00f1ado de un grupo de m\u00fasicos de primera l\u00ednea y con un repertorio basado en lo que toca diariamente en \u201cLa Zorra y el Cuervo\u201d (m\u00edtico lugar habanero), Pozo nos muestra todo lo que lleva en la sangre ejecutando con sus cuatro congas, piezas que el mismo ha compuesto, demostrando que todo lo que se pueda decir sobre \u00e9l queda corto cuando uno lo escucha.<br>Nos encontramos ante la opera prima de este percusionista y que consideramos entrar\u00e1 en los anales de la m\u00fasica cubana, \u201cLa Descarga\u201d es posiblemente&nbsp; la mejor producci\u00f3n de Cuban-Jazz que hemos escuchado en los \u00faltimos tiempos y bien seguro que los temas \u201cTradicional\u201d, \u201cDescarga Cubana\u201d, \u201cRumba para dos\u201d, \u201cLleg\u00f3 Pozo\u201d entre otros,&nbsp; se convertir\u00e1n en las delicias del p\u00fablico. En fin, un CD para la historia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Joaqu\u00edn Pozo, the grandson of Chano Pozo, who is descended from one the great families of the Cuban music, features the \u201cDescarga Cubana\u201d. This work is included within the new jazz made currently in Cuba.<br>He comes along with the finest quality group of musicians and with a repertoire based in what he daily plays in \u201cLa Zorra y el Cuervo\u201d (a mythical habanero place). Pozo shows us all he has in his blood and performs with his four congas some themes that he has composed, proving that every word said about him still is not enough when you listen to him.<br>We find ourselves before the opera prima of this percussionist and we consider it will be included into the Cuban music memory. \u201cLa Descarga\u201d is probably the best production of Cuban-Jazz that we have listened to in recent times and the themes \u201cTradicional\u201d, \u201cDescarga Cubana\u201d, \u201cRumba para dos\u201d, \u201cLleg\u00f3 Pozo\u201d among others, will delight the audience for sure.
