Su vida art\u00edstica da comienzo en el Conjunto Surcaribe, en el que permaneci\u00f3 durante trece a\u00f1os, siendo el primer tromb\u00f3n y el responsable de la cuerda de metales. Su m\u00fasica y su forma interpretativa han sido influenciadas por Hugo Morej\u00f3n (Van Van) y Juan Pablo Torres, artistas por los que siempre ha sentido una gran admiraci\u00f3n.<br>Actualmente forma parte de la orquesta de Elio Rev\u00e9 y su Charang\u00f3n, aunque de vez en cuando hace participaciones con otras orquestas: con el conjunto de Arnaldo Rold\u00e1n gan\u00f3, en 1983, el premio a la mejor interpretaci\u00f3n. Ha participado como solista en varios festivales de jazz en Nueva York, Frankfurt, Londres, M\u00e9xico,&#8230; en los que obtuvo varios premios.<br>Una producci\u00f3n de m\u00fasica cubana bailable en la que Ulises ha contado con la colaboraci\u00f3n de Manolito Simonet, Donaldo Flores y Maikel Blanco. La componen temas como \u201cGuantanamera\u201d, \u201cT\u00edreme Un Pasillo\u201d, \u201cCatalina\u201d, \u201cLa Enga\u00f1adora\u201d y \u201cCuando Suena Mi Tromb\u00f3n\u201d, entre otros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Proceeding from Santiago de Cuba, Ulises is one of the trombonists preferred by the Cuban orchestras. His artistic life gives beginning in the Conjunto Surcaribe, in which he remained for thirteen years, being the first trombonist and the person in charge of the metal string. His music and his interpretive form have been influenced by Hugo Morej\u00f3n (Van Van) and Juan Paul Torres, artists for whom always he has felt a great admiration.<br>At the moment he is part of the orquest Elio Rev\u00e9 and his Charang\u00f3n, however sometimes he participate with other orquest: with the group of Arnaldo Rold\u00e1n win in 1983 the best interpretation. He participates with lonely in some festival of jazz in New York, Frankfurt, Londres, Mexico\u2026..
