A partir de ah\u00ed, ha logrado elevar su carrera musical, siendo el cantante de orquestas como el conjunto Bolero, Chappott\u00edn y sus Estrellas popularizando&nbsp;temas como \u201cOlla Olla\u201d, \u201cChe-Che\u201d, \u201cNicol\u00e1s Corri\u00f3\u201d, \u201cCu\u00e9ntame de Ti\u201d, \u201cVida y Besos\u201d o \u201cMuere Una Ilusi\u00f3n\u201d, la orquesta de Neno Gonz\u00e1lez, donde populariz\u00f3 temas como \u201cSe Sec\u00f3 Manantial\u201d, \u201cEl Saz\u00f3n de tus Frijoles\u201d, \u201cViejo Celoso\u201d, \u201cLunita Redondita\u201d y \u201cEl Molote\u201d, entre otras.<br>En el 2001, obtiene un \u00e9xito colosal con su propia orquesta en la producci\u00f3n De Profesi\u00f3n&#8230; Sonero. Acompa\u00f1ado por un formato de septeto, casi todos integrantes del c\u00e9lebre Septeto Matamoros, lleg\u00f3 a convertirse el tema \u201cMuere Una Ilusi\u00f3n\u201d en un n\u00famero uno en todas las listas de \u00e9xitos, obteniendo el premio a la mejor producci\u00f3n de m\u00fasica tradicional cubana en el certamen CUBADISCO 2001.<br>Una de las particularidades de Mazacote es la perfecta adaptaci\u00f3n de su timbre de voz al formato que le acompa\u00f1a. En esta producci\u00f3n, se ha variado sensiblemente el acompa\u00f1amiento, introduciendo el piano y el timbal, d\u00e1ndole un aire m\u00e1s bailable y actual, logrando un sonido muy novedoso.&nbsp; Encontraremos temas como \u201cSoy De Buenavista\u201d, \u201cOye Sambullo\u201d, \u201cHoy S\u00e9 M\u00e1s\u201d, \u201cDos Letras\u201d, \u201cTu y Yo\u201d, hasta doce temas del m\u00e1s puro son cubano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The first orchestra Ignacio Carrillo \u201dMazacote\u201d worked with was the Supremo de Berto Ramos, alongside Jos\u00e9 Calvo Cueras.
