Eg\u00fces observa en \u00e9l unas condiciones naturales para tocar la flauta y habla con la madre de \u00e9ste para que le matricule en la carrera de m\u00fasica.&nbsp; Poco despu\u00e9s tiene la oportunidad de hacer una prueba con el maestro Ignacio Puey, que por aquel entonces era flautista de la orquesta Elio Rev\u00e9, donde es aceptado.<br>Unos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, pasa a formar parte de la orquesta de Joseito Fern\u00e1ndez hijo. En \u00e9sta permanece durante siete a\u00f1os, ya como profesional.&nbsp; En 1988 se integra en la orquesta Am\u00e9rica dirigida por el maestro Jorge Machado. Nueve a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, cambia de formaci\u00f3n, esta vez pasa a formar parte de la orquesta Enrique Jorr\u00edn dirigida por el pianista Rub\u00e9n Gonz\u00e1lez.<br>Actualmente pertenece a la orquesta de Guillermo Rubalcaba y a la charanga Havana All Stars. No obstante, a pesar de tener una carrera tan prol\u00edfera, a Ren\u00e9 le faltaba cumplir un sue\u00f1o: realizar su propia grabaci\u00f3n. Para ello ha contado en la direcci\u00f3n con Jorge Machado y Luis Dom\u00ednguez. Destacaremos algunos temas como el primer corte del \u00e1lbum \u201cCha-cha-ch\u00e1 Para Un Flautista\u201d, que da t\u00edtulo gen\u00e9rico al \u00e1lbum, u otros temas como \u201cSin Amor No Vivo Yo\u201d, \u201cLa Muela\u201d, \u201cCachita\u201d y \u201cMi Jeva\u201d, entre otras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>From an early age, Ren\u00e9 Herrera was aware of his love for music and studied music with the maestro Richard Eg\u00fces. Eg\u00fces observed Ren\u00e9\u2019s natural talent for playing the flute and spoke to his mother to try and get him to study in a music school.&nbsp; Soon after he had the chance to do an audition with the maestro Ignacio Puey, who at the time was a flute player with the Eio Rev\u00e9 orchestra.<br>Some years later he joined the Joseito Fern\u00e1ndez Unos hijo Orchesta.&nbsp; He stayed with them for seven years.&nbsp; In 1988 he joined the orquesta Am\u00e9rica led by the maestro Jorge Machado. Nine years later, he joined the orquesta Enrique Jorr\u00edn led by the pianist Rub\u00e9n Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/em><br><em>At the moment he belongs to la orquesta Guillermo Rubalcaba and the charanga Havana All Stars. However, despite having such a prolific career, Ren\u00e9 wanted to make his dream come true of making a solo production.&nbsp; He was able to do this thanks to the help of Jorge Machado and Luis A.
