Fajardo \u201cLa Flauta de Cuba\u201d, nace el 18 de octubre de 1.919 en Guanes (Pinar del R\u00edo), en el seno de una familia de m\u00fasicos. Durante un tiempo, form\u00f3 parte de la orquesta de Arca\u00f1o.<br>En 1.949, Fajardo forma su propia orquesta, introduciendo m\u00fasicos de la talla de Ren\u00e9 Hern\u00e1ndez y F\u00e9lix Reina. Su primera grabaci\u00f3n la hace con Panart, grabando los danzones \u201cSilver Star\u201d, \u201cAngoa\u201d, \u201cLa Enga\u00f1adora\u201d y \u201cQue Bonito Es\u201d.<br>En 1.955, viaja a Nueva York, donde coincide con grandes artistas. Al poco tiempo obtiene un gran \u00e9xito con el tema \u201cKikirik\u00ed\u201d. Desde ese momento, una de cadena de n\u00fameros uno le siguieron como \u201cRitmo de Pollo\u201d, \u201cA M\u00ed Que\u201d, \u201cEst\u00e1 De Bala\u201d, llev\u00e1ndole a trabajar en la sala m\u00e1s prestigiosa de la m\u00fasica tropical, el Palladium.<br>Fajardo enferma en 1.996 y se ve obligado a dejar de tocar. Fallece a causa de unas afecciones pulmonares que no puede superar el 11 de diciembre del 2.001, dej\u00e1ndonos una preciada herencia de cientos de temas compuestos e interpretados por \u201dLa Flauta de Cuba\u201d.<br>Ahora, se re\u00fanen las Estrellas de Envidia, J.J. Oliveros, Guillermo Rubalcaba, Jes\u00fas Rubalcaba, Wenceslao de Jes\u00fas, Ronny Cabarrocas, E. L\u00f3pez \u201cBoniatillo\u201d, Victor Hugo Carrillo, Pichi Vald\u00e9s, Carlos Godines, Jorge Machado, entre otros, para homenajear al gran maestro con una producci\u00f3n, interpretando sus mayores \u00e9xitos, como \u201cLos Tamalitos de Olga\u201d, \u201cAguardiente\u201d, \u201cFajardo Te Hace Cumbanchar\u201d, \u201cRitmo de Pollo\u201d, &#8230;<br><em><br>Jos\u00e9 A. Fajardo \u201cLa Flauta de Cuba\u201d, (The flute of Cuba) was born on 18th October 1919 in Guanes (Pinar del R\u00edo), in the heart of a family of musicians. For a short period of time, he formed part of the Arca\u00f1o Orchestra.<br>In 1949, Fajardo formed his own orchestra with musicians such as Ren\u00e9 Hern\u00e1ndez and Felix Reina. His first recording was with Panart, recording the danzones, \u201cSilver Star\u201d, \u201cAngoa\u201d, \u201cLa Enga\u00f1adora\u201d and \u201cQue Bonito Es\u201d.<br>In 1955, he travelled to New York where he coincided with some big artists. A short time later he had a big hit with \u201cKikiriki\u201d. From then on, a string of number one hits followed such as \u201cRitmo de Pollo\u201d, \u201cA M\u00ed Que\u201d, \u201cEst\u00e1 De Bala\u201d, which led to him performing in the Palladium, the most prestigious music hall for tropical music.<br>Fajardo fell ill in 1996 and had to stop playing. He passed away on 11th December 2001 because of a lung infection, leaving us with hundreds of songs performed by \u201cLa Flauta de Cuba\u201d.<br>Now the stars of ENVIDIA such as, J.J. Oliveros, Guillermo Rubalcaba, Jes\u00fas Rubalcaba, Wenceslao de Jes\u00fas, Ronny Cabarrocas, E.
