Conocidos mundialmente como \u201cLa Academia Del Son\u201d, con el paso del tiempo siguen conservando su sonido original, fundamentalmente basado en una percusi\u00f3n fuerte, una secci\u00f3n de metal (4 trompetas) muy agresivas y dando una relevancia especial al trabajo de las voces.<br>Despu\u00e9s del fallecimiento del hijo de F\u00e9lix Chappott\u00edn, Angel Chappott\u00edn, el hijo de \u00e9ste Jes\u00fas Angel, m\u00e1s conocido en el ambiente musical como El Ni\u00f1o, se ha hecho cargo de la orquesta, siendo adem\u00e1s su primera trompeta y muy posiblemente el mejor trompetista del g\u00e9nero a nivel mundial.<br>Desde su \u00faltima producci\u00f3n, la agrupaci\u00f3n ha tenido alg\u00fan cambio en las voces incorpor\u00e1ndose una de las grandes figuras del son cubano: Gregorio Laza \u201cEl Negrito Cordob\u00e9s\u201d que ya estuvo anteriormente. Al mismo tiempo debuta grabando con Chappottin el hijo del que fuera alma del son: Miguelito Cun\u00ed<br>Nos presentan su \u00faltima producci\u00f3n en la que encontraremos temas nuevos y cl\u00e1sicos como \u201cGuaguanc\u00f3 Pa\u00b4 Los Rumberos\u201d, \u201cEl Tibur\u00f3n\u201d, \u201cCimarr\u00f3n\u201d, \u201cAlto Songo\u201d, \u201cQuimbomb\u00f3\u201d,&#8230;<br><em><br>Internationally known as \u201cLa Academia del Son\u201d, they have conserved their original sound despite the passage of time.
