Desde ni\u00f1o su mayor sue\u00f1o era formar su propia orquesta.<br>Sus instrumentos favoritos siempre hab\u00edan sido los de cuerda, comenz\u00f3 tocando la guitarra espa\u00f1ola, pero m\u00e1s tarde descubre el \u00fanico instrumento de cuerdas t\u00edpicamente cubano: el Tres.<br>En 1.989 FARR\u00c9S, junto con algunos m\u00fasicos cubanos que resid\u00edan en Barcelona, forma su primera orquesta: \u00abEl Septeto Barcelona\u00bb, la cual ha sufrido varias transformaciones como el cambio de nombre por el de \u00abSepteto Tradici\u00f3n\u00bb y m\u00e1s tarde, incorpora la voz del que es el actual cantante de la agrupaci\u00f3n Juan D\u00edaz Zayas \u00abEl Indio\u00bb, cambiando tambi\u00e9n el nombre de la orquesta por el de \u00abEl Chang\u00fc\u00ed-son\u00bb.<br>Con este cd, FARR\u00c9S materializa su m\u00e1s preciado sue\u00f1o de grabar un disco en la propia Cuba. Un disco donde encontraremos seis temas compuestos por \u00e9l mismo, de los cuales destacamos \u00abRico Chang\u00fc\u00ed\u00bb y \u00abSoy La Tradici\u00f3n\u00bb. Tambi\u00e9n se han seleccionado muy cuidadosamente otros temas de compositores de gran renombre como \u00abMulence\u00bb de Arsenio Rodr\u00edguez, \u00abAmor De Loca Juventud\u00bb de Rafael Ortiz, \u00abChang\u00f3 Ta Ven\u00ed\u00bb de Justi Barreto,&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em>Ever since he was born, \u00c1ngel Farr\u00e9s has lived very close to Cuban music and he has even played mambos and cha-cha-cha with some orchestras. Since he was a child, his dream was to form his own orchestra.<br>His favourite instruments have always been string instruments. He started to play the Spanish guitar but he later discovered the only typical Cuban string instrument \u2013 the tres.<br>In 1989, Farr\u00e9s, along with some other Cuban musicians, formed his own orchestra, \u201cEl Septeto Barcelona\u201d. They underwent several name changes before becoming the Septeto Tradici\u00f3n. Later Juan D\u00edaz Zayas \u201cEl Indio\u201d joined (he is the current vocalist) provoking another name change, they are now known as the Chang\u00fci-Son.<br>This CD is a dream come true for Farr\u00e9s to record in Cuba. He has composed six songs on this album of which \u201cRico Chang\u00fci\u201d and \u201cSoy La Tradici\u00f3n\u201d are particularly outstanding.
