En la d\u00e9cada de 1.950, se tocaban tumbadoras y yerros de congas en cualquier lugar. LAZAGA estudi\u00f3 m\u00fasica en el conservatorio de Ignacio Cervantes y posee un gran dominio de la percusi\u00f3n, algo imprescindible para llevar el ritmo del g\u00fciro y mantener el tempo de la orquesta.<br>LAZAGA funda La Ritmo Oriental; una charanga t\u00edpica cubana. El g\u00fcirero Juan Claro Bravo se cansaba tocando su instrumento y se turnaba con Lazaga la tumbadora. ENRIQUE tocaba el g\u00fciro de una forma muy singular; sonaba m\u00e1s r\u00edtmico, era un rayado corto, m\u00e1s vivo, al cual llamaba \u201cmacheteado\u201d.<br>Con este \u00e1lbum, La Ritmo nos transporta a los \u00e9xitos de sus inicios con temas como: \u201cMi Socio Manolo\u201d o con un popurr\u00ed especial, y con temas tradicionales actualizados por la orquesta como: \u201cYolanda\u201d, \u201cLa Tarde\u201d, \u201cSon De La Loma\u201d, \u201cLa Gloria Eres Tu\u201d, entre otros.<br>En este disco se recuerda una etapa en que La Ritmo sonaba fuerte en todos los salones de m\u00e1s prestigio de Cuba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em>Enrique Lazaga\u2019s interest in music started through his father. He played the tumbadora alongside him in the Orquesta Rumba Palace. In the 1950s it was common to play tumbadoras and yerros de congas all over the place. Lazaga studied music at the Ignacio Cervantes Conservatoire where he devoted a lot of his time to percussion.<br>He then formed La Ritmo Oriental, a typical Cuban charanga. The guiro player, Juan Claro Bravo got tired of playing his instrument so he swapped instruments with Enrique Lazaga.
