Pacho decide formar su propia orquesta y pasa a sustituirlo Manolo Couto, por un periodo de cuatro a\u00f1os, hasta que en 1.971 es Roberto Correa quien toma la direcci\u00f3n; trompetista, arreglista y compositor, que hoy en d\u00eda sigue al frente de LOS BOCUCOS.<br>Su actual formaci\u00f3n: el pianista Roberto Mart\u00ednez, los trompetistas Leandro Cruz, Pedro Crespo y Luis Cruz, con el tromb\u00f3n Ra\u00fal Contreras y Fidel Crello \u201cComu\u00e9\u201d, las voces de Juan C. Mero, Karel L. Dorado y Germ\u00e1n Mendoza, el conguero L\u00e1zaro Crello y Roimelis Fuentes como bajo. Contando en esta producci\u00f3n con la colaboraci\u00f3n especial de Juan Carlos Calder\u00f3n en el bongo, con Marcos A. Ruiz en la bater\u00eda y el timbal, y con la voz de Patricia Reyes.<br>Cultivadores de la m\u00fasica popular bailable, estos soneros imprimen un sello muy personal en todos sus temas, sobretodo en el aspecto r\u00edtmico. En su \u00faltimo trabajo encontramos temas tan populares como: \u201cEntra Derecho\u201d, \u201cOriente Cuna Florida\u201d, \u201c20 A\u00f1os\u201d, \u201cRezo En La Noche\u201d, \u201cComo El Titanic\u201d y el tema que da titulo al \u00e1lbum \u201cAy Candela!\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Formed over forty years ago in Santiago de Cuba, Los Bocucos were led by Pacho Alonso for twenty years. Then Pacho decided to form his own orchestra. Then, Manolo Couto led the Bocucos for a period of four years until 1971 when Roberto Correa took the lead. He is their current front man.<br>The current formation is made up of the following: Roberto Mart\u00ednez on the piano, Leandro Cruz, Pedro Crespo and Luis Cruz playing the trumpet, Ra\u00fal Contrera and Fidel Crello \u201cComu\u00e9\u201d on trombone, the vocals of Juan C. Mero, Karel L. Dorado and Germ\u00e1n Mendoza, the conga player L\u00e1zaro Crello and Roimelis Fuentes on the bass. This production was made in collaboration with Juan Carlos Calder\u00f3n playing the bongo, Marcos A. Ruiz on the drums and the voice of Patricia Reyes.<br>Cultivators of popular dancing music, these Son artists make their personal mark, especially in the rhythm aspect.
