Nacido en la Habana en 1.947 e hijo del maestro del piano Jes\u00fas L\u00f3pez de la orquesta Arcano y sus Maravillas, empez\u00f3 a brillar en la d\u00e9cada de los 60.<br>Alcanza su primer trabajo profesional en 1.961 en la Charanga Estrellas del 59, pero su gran oportunidad lleg\u00f3 de la mano de la Charanga Rubalcaba al fallecer el pailero Pedrito Arodtegui. Por aquel entonces, Rubalcaba tenia un programa de televisi\u00f3n, y Eduardito toco con ellos en directo sin ning\u00fan ensayo previo, como si hubiese tocado toda la vida con ellos. Ese d\u00eda le pusieron el sobrenombre de Boniato (BONIATILLO) que le acompa\u00f1ar\u00eda para siempre.<br>Boniatillo ha tocado con los m\u00e1s importantes m\u00fasicos de las tres \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas: \u00ab&#8230;entre mis sue\u00f1os cumplidos se encuentran el de haber tocado con la orquesta de Antonio Arca\u00f1o en un homenaje a su figura, haber hecho un disco dedicado al flautista de la orquesta Arag\u00f3n y otro al inigualable piano de Chuco Vald\u00e9s\u00bb &#8211; nos dice Boniatillo.<br>Es, sin duda, el mejor en el mundo de la charanga. Le acompa\u00f1an Jes\u00fas y William Rubalcaba, J. J. Oliveros, Wenceslao de Jes\u00fas, Pepe Espinosa, F\u00e9lix Valoy Jr. y otras estrellas en este trabajo donde podremos disfrutar de temas como \u00abFefita\u00bb, \u00abEl Cha Cha Cha de los Cari\u00f1osos\u00bb, \u00abRitmo de Pollo\u00bb, \u00abLa Chaucha\u00bb o \u00abBruca Manigua\u00bb. Una Producci\u00f3n excepcional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><br>Here we find Eduardo Antonio L\u00f3pez (Boniatillo) the famous timbal player. Born in 1947 in Havana, and son of the piano maestro Jes\u00fas L\u00f3pez from the Orquesta Arca\u00f1o y sus Maravillas. His career began in the 1960s.<br>His first professional piece of work was in 1961 with the Charanga Estrellas of 1959, but his big break was with the Charanga Rubalcaba when Pedrito Arodtegui passed away. At the time, Rubalcaba had a TV programme and Eduardito played live with them without any previous rehearsal. It was as if he had been playing his whole life. That day he was nicknamed \u201cBoniatillo\u201d and it has stuck ever since.<br>Boniatillo has played with the most important musicians in the last 3 decades. \u201c\u2026one of my greatest achievements has been to play in the Orquesta Arca\u00f1o as a tribute to him\u201d, he says.<br>He is, without a doubt, the best timbalero in the charanga world. On this album he is accompanied by Jes\u00fas and William Rubalcaba, J.J. Olveros, Wenceslao de Jes\u00fas, Pepe Espinosa, F\u00e9lix Valoy Jr. and other great stars.
