MAX, comenz\u00f3 su carrera musical cantando en agrupaciones como el Conjuntico Club, el Conjunto Universal y con Los Guaracheros de Guanabacoa, (con los que pasaba el \u00abcepillo\u00bb (el sombrero) por bares.<br>La d\u00e9cada de los 50 fue su gran despegue; con el nombre de Maximito, se incorpora a agrupaciones como el Conjunto Arm\u00f3nico (con el cual viajo a New York, donde eran muy reclamados por su espect\u00e1culo cubano y donde pasar\u00eda a llamarse \u00abThe Atomic Singer\u00bb), la Orquesta Copacabana, Quintana M\u00e9lody Boys. Otra \u00e9poca importante de su carrera fue el paso por el conjunto de Luis Sant\u00ed. M\u00e1s tarde sustituy\u00f3 a Felo Mart\u00ednez poniendo de moda aquel tema que todos ustedes recordaran \u00abque malo soy \/ soy una ara\u00f1a peluda\u00bb y a partir de entonces se hizo llamar El Capit\u00e1n Ara\u00f1a.<br>En 1.996 decidi\u00f3 retirarse de la m\u00fasica, dejando una obra de m\u00e1s de cincuenta piezas. Ahora regresa el Capit\u00e1n Ara\u00f1a con un nuevo trabajo\u00bbEl Regreso de el Hombre de la Maletica\u00bb. Lleg\u00f3 la ara\u00f1a, recoge y vete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Born over 70 years ago in Regla, it was clear to Max from an early age that he wanted to dedicate his whole life to music. He started his musical career singing in groups such as the Conjunto Club, the Conjunto Universal, and the Guaracheros de Guanabacoa.<br>His big career break was in the 1950s. He became known as Maximito and he was part of groups like Conjunto Armonico (with whom he travelled to New York where they had a great reception, from then on he became known as the \u201cAtomic Singer\u201d. Another important time of his career was when he was part of the Luis Santi Conjunto. Later he substituted Felo Martinez making songs like \u201cque malo soy\/ soy una ara\u00f1a peluda\u201d (I\u2019m so bad, I\u2019m a hairy spider).
