Se inici\u00f3 como una cooperativa formada por los integrantes de los conjuntos que tocaban cada noche en el night-club del que tomaron su nombre: el Havana Riverside. Aunque con el tiempo el nombre se transform\u00f3 en el de Orquesta Riverside. El violinista Enrique Gonz\u00e1lez M\u00e1ntici, fue el primero de los directores de la Orquesta Riverside, que actu\u00f3 varias temporadas en prestigiosos locales como el Sans Souci o el Montmartre, as\u00ed como en un programa de&nbsp; radio llamado \u201cPregunt\u00f3n Musical\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En esta producci\u00f3n se recoge la esencia de uno de los m\u00e1s prestigiosos conjuntos de una \u00e9poca brillante para las agrupaciones soneras y las charangas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R<em>iverside Orchestra had been one of the most prestigious charangas from their age, but with jazz band format.
